Greengridz® substrates

Lightweight, unbreakable, and circular

After a long journey of developing, engineering, and testing, we designed a new product to reinforce worktops made of stone and composite. Greengridz® substrates are a sustainable alternative to polystyrene strips, which are currently largely used. In the case of worktops with mitered edges, Greengridz® substrates increase the strength of the worktop, strengthen the areas that have cut-outs, and ensure the correct level with kitchen cabinets.

Greengridz® substrates must be placed all around the edge of the final shape of the worktop so it rests directly on the vertical supports of the kitchen cabinets. The substrates make it almost impossible to crack the worktop during production, transport, and assembly. Machining and cutting can be done with standard woodworking equipment.
