At Greenmarking, we care about a sustainable future. Our whole business conduct is built around our purpose of developing sustainable solutions. We want to contribute to protecting the planet’s natural resources for future generations. With Greengridz®, we engineered an environmentally friendly construction panel that can be used industry-wide. 

Our product caters to a broad range of sectors within the construction building industry. It is used for kitchen countertops, table tops, office furniture, home furniture, exhibition booths and flooring, and much more. Greengridz® was developed to incorporate environmentally friendly, health-conscious construction panels into everyday life. In addition to the sustainability of our product, we focus on our organization’s broader social and environmental impact. In addition, Dekker Zevenhuizen, of which Greenmarking is a part, is an MVO Nederland partner. 

The people behind production work

Production work is often thought to be monotonous. Therefore, we put a lot of effort into making our production site a motivational workplace where employees have a variety of responsibilities and where they feel valued. In addition, we organize regular team-building activities that contribute to a pleasant work environment and a feeling of belonging among employees. There are also a lot of opportunities to grow within the company. Many employees have been with us for over ten years and happily share their affinity with and knowledge of the product and company with new team members. We make Greengridz®’s appliances tangible for our team by pointing out the lunch room’s kitchen countertop upstairs, which is made of the construction panels we make downstairs. This strengthens the feeling of contribution to sustainability even more and proves the importance of production work.

Environmental efforts

Another essential cornerstone of our business conduct is the environment. Greengridz® is certified with various quality and sustainability labels that underline the green characteristics of our construction panels. The grid structure of Greengridz reduces the amount of material required compared to solid construction panels. The material that is indeed used is FSC-certified, which ensures responsible forestry. A specific harvesting approach ensures forest preservation and prevents clearcutting. In addition to the raw materials, the FSC label indicates social and economic well-being of workers and local communities and ensures transparency and inclusiveness. Greengridz has even more green characteristics that reflect our contribution to a sustainable and durable future.
